CONFERENCE VENUE
2008 Cowra tourism Award for Business excellence
2008 Cowra Guardian Better Business award - Tourism
We take this opportunity to invite you and your clients to The Mill Cellar Door and Function Centre, Cowra NSW for your conference venue.
The Mill Cellar Door and Function Centre is the oldest building in Cowra, built in 1861. This historical building
is three stories high and constructed of local blue granite and sandstone. The building originally served as the
region's flour mill. In 1905, the flour mill closed and remained derelict until 1996.
The O'Dea family of Windowrie Estate purchased the derelict building in 1996 and have restored it to its
former glory. A key aspect of the restoration was the use of recycled materials. The conference venue is
located on the second floor of The Mill (16 wide stairs with double sided hand rails between each floor).
The Mill is open all year for your convenience.
