The O’Dea family and team Windowrie are excited to host you and your guest at the 2024 Windowrie Long Lunch, a highlight of our calendar and celebration of exceptional wine, local produce, and great company.
Join us for a relaxing weekend, starting on Friday the 1st of November as we unveil our brand-new Sakura wine label! This special release pays homage to the deep connection between our community and Japan, beautifully symbolised by the iconic cherry blossom.
Our Sakura label is all about capturing the spirit of renewal and savouring life’s fleeting moments–and we’ve bottled that feeling straight from our Windowrie certified organic Homestead blocks.
What better way to enjoy it than with a menu that’s as exciting as the wines? We’ve taken inspiration from Japanese flavours and crafted a feast entirely from local ingredients, promising a deliciously unique culinary experience that pairs perfectly with our Sakura wines.
The Windowrie Long Lunch is our chance to say thanks to you for your ongoing support. The weekend kicks off with a relaxing dinner in Canowindra at 6pm on Friday the 1st of November. We will meet at the Royal Hotel for a pub feed on Friday night. Saturday morning can be enjoyed wandering the streets of Canowindra.
You will be collected on Saturday morning from your accommodation where we will then head to the winery for a casual tasting and tour, ready to join the rest of the long lunchers for a 1pm start at the homestead.
Lunch will conclude around 5pm and we have transfers organised back to your Canowindra accommodation or the Royal Hotel for those who want to keep the party rolling!

We’ve arranged your accommodation in Canowindra to make it easy for you to attend. Plus, we’ve got transportation to and from the Long Lunch covered, so you can relax and enjoy the weekend! We’ll provide all the information for venues as well as pick up and drop off times via email closer to the date.
